  TIGER TENNIS-BEGINNER INTRO TO TENNIS –INTERMEDIATE ---$13.48 an hour  –9:00-10:20—University High school 2825 W 116th St, Carmel, IN 46032 --$89.00 each student for entire 5  weeks – 6 hours of tennis-Your student will learn basic tennis technique forehand; backhand learn to serve play games and keep score.  Your intermediate student will focus on building upon fundamental skills. Students refine their techniques, explore more advanced strokes, and start to learn about strategic play in both singles and doubles.      WORSHIP BAND Bring your favorite instrument and learn how to play as a band. Learn music, rhythm,  staging, sound, to read music, tempo, music theory, musical keys.  to stay together as a band, fellowship, community.   DRAWING CLASS learns how to shade, to contour, to create depth and shadows while studying Art History.  In this beginner to intermediate pastel class, we explore techniques and ideas to help each student.  develop and mature their artistic voice. New techniques and ideas are presented through demonstrations. and talks given by Pastelist Renee Bognar You will choose your subject matter, working from photographs, still life composition or your imagination Ages 5-18    

GUITAR PROGRAM -Learn strumming, cord changes, rhythms, cords as they apply to songs, key changes. Learning songs that you personally choose COURSE DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES Guitar is a one-semester course covering the basics of the instrument and an application of essential music fundamentals.  Students will learn the basics of playing guitar at a beginning level through studying music notation, chord symbols, and peer modeling.  A brief history of the guitar along with a study of its respective musical styles

ALL ARTS CLASS   watercolor, pastel, pencil, clay we will do an overview of all these arts learning technique and skills and theory in this camp, you will paint all different subject matters using different kinds of paint and techniques. Learn how to paint with acrylic, liquid watercolors and tray watercolors, adding detail. You will use all different kinds of brush strokes, techniques and salt! Create an Animal, a Van Gogh and Monet landscape, a Blue Herron! Experience the art of clay using the air-dried variety—no kilns necessary. Learn sculpting and hand building techniques while creating pinch pots, tiles, and animal sculptue, taught with art history and history period of your choosing to correspond with creative writing/literature  watercolors and tray watercolors, adding detail. CREATIVE WRITING/POEMS/LITERATURE— Choose your time period—art history and history to correspond. Creative writing involves developing narrative writing skills to create engaging stories and explore their imagination. At this age, students build upon their existing writing knowledge, focusing on increased complexity in subject matter, vocabulary, and general writing techniques.Key aspects of creative writing:Narrative Focus: A primary focus is on writing narratives, which can include stories, novels, plays, or personal accounts like memoirs and anecdotes.Developing Experiences and Events: Students learn to use effective techniques to develop real or imagined experiences or events in their narratives, using well-chosen details and structured event sequences.

             Tiger Fitness  was started in 2002 by Renee Bognar for kids, families and adults after swim team practice at Woodland Spring  Neighborhood courts with a group of 4 families that wanted to keep their kids active after swim team season and learn nutrition and fitness.  Families wanted to learn the sport of tennis. Other families from our neighborhood joined in and as the kids got older many wanted to start a team  and have a sport to play with Christian sportsmanship and to have an attitude of determination, focus and discipline. As we grew we  included strength training, fitness, nutrition and cross training. We added our preschool programs to include all kids from a family. Tiger Fitness  incorporated age groups having classes simultaneously adding coordination games and movement skills. We teach our lessons and techniques, play our matches and fitness training with these attitudes in mind.  We are committed to offer these programs with the tutelage of Christian coaching and instruction in an environment of family values  Our mission is to encourage all of our students ages 4-18  in our Lord to press for His excellence in all things. We offer classes,  clinics and lessons and tournament matches fitness training and stretching flexibility   fitness for all ages. Renee  had starting competing at tennis at age 6 and had played tennis in college learning strength training and fitness training as well as stretching  coordination and became certified by the United States Tennis  Association as a teaching pro. Renee continues to incorporate fitness, stretching flexibility  fitness and tennis and platform tennis into her daily life. Renee  has been a fitness coach, soccer coach ,volleyball coach, golf, basketball coach and pickleball instructor. Tiger Fitness instructs 3-18 in fitness and  nutrition and has built a solid client bass in Carmel since 2002.

Tiger Tennis School

     Creative Art Center was started in Indianapolis in 1989 as a support for Artist encouraging and providing resources them in various manners. We moved to Carmel in 1998 and began classes for kids and families in Carmel as a group of 4 families that wanted to paint and draw, then guitar lessons and voice lesson began. As my daughters got more involved with the Arts I began teaching classes I had taught for various Museum, Art Galleries and Musical Groups. -       Executive Director/ Head Coaches Renee Bognar- qualifications Started playing tennis at age 4 and  competitively with inter club tennis at age 6 and throughout Ohio at age 7 in national USTA tournaments getting ranked nationally by age 12. She was ranked nationally in age group from 6 through her teens playing in various tournaments, having private lessons daily from age 6-16 by certified USTA teaching pros. She played varsity for her High school team in Cincinnati and won State every year. She went on to play varsity for DePauw University playing varsity. In high school she started teaching for Steve Contardi at Queen City Racquet Club and became certified as a teaching United Stated Teaching Pro USTA  in Cincinnati and continued to teach summers throughout college.

Renee graduated from DePauw University with a degree in Economics and Art History, studying fine art, she went Europe and NYC to peruse  Art History and Archaeology. Renee taught high school Economics and Computer programing in Cincinnati. She went on to NYC to start her graduate work in Art History working for several Museums including Curator for The Smithsonian, Director of Education -Boston Children’s Museum, Educational Curator-Reynalda House Museum, Winston Salem N.C., Director of Education Clossons Art Gallery, Cincinnati, Head of New Artists Multiple Impressions Art Gallery Manhattan ( SoHo) NY,NY Professor of Art History-Butler, Professor of Art- Indianapolis Art Center, Christian Art Center classes and lessons since 1989.When Renee moved to Indianapolis in 1990 and opened Renee Bognar Art Gallery,this  is a Corporate Art Dealership, representing local and national and international artist,Placing Art work into local and national corporations and residence and teaching  Art History at the Indianapolis Art Center and Butler University. In 2002 she opened Creative Arts Center teaching Painting/Drawing/Art history and all creative arts. Renee  continues working with students from Carmel, Westfield, Noblesville and Fishers Schools teaching Art, Art History, Architecture, Archeaology for the Highlands Latin. Teaches Art, Art History and Musicals for the Montessori school of Westfield, Musical Director College Hill Presbyterian Church working with the Gaither’ Praise Gathering, Head of worship Young Life, and for the Accapella choir for DePauw University-Instructor of Voice and Theater –CYT, Taught, Sang in and played guitar with Hunter Smith’s band and various bands in Cincinnati and Indianapolis. Tiger Tennis grew as Renee started teaching friends and friends of friends in 2013 along with her daughter’s tennis lessons after swim practice at Woodland Springs and Tigers was born. Her tennis program has grown into about 300 kids a year. In 2008  we began a home school, Cottage school, Charter School tennis team, kids from public schools that wanted to play on our teams and for kids who do not play for a school team. We had 300 students and will play 79 matches in 2014 we won many of our seasons matches. At the end of 2013 we expanded to Carmel Racquet Club due to our fall season consisting of 50 students on 2 tennis courts. In 2018 we expanded to more locations including our lessons to University high school and in 2020 to Parkshore Dr Fishers. Tiger Tennis has begun it program in Cincinnati Spring of 2015. With new coaches and students playing with the Tiger Tennis program.

Rachel Bognar Clester started playing tennis at the age of 4 and competed in Middleschool,highschool . Rachel played for Grace college and teaches tennis fro Carmel Racquet club  

Barbara Flourers has taught art at several museums and art centers over the past 15 years. Barbara also teaches private violin,pianoand has taught at several music studios out East.
